Essa marca de chapinha é super conhecida na europa. É usada e vendida nos melhores salões. A ghd sempre lança diferentes cores e embalagens lindas (a maioria tem cara de bolsa mesmo). Dá uma olhada no site para ver os modelos!

Na verdade só muda a cara porque os produtos são praticamente os mesmos. O que realmente faz diferença no resultado são os três tamanhos de prancha: pequeno, médio e grande:

Actually, the changes are only on the appearance, the products are usually the same. What really changes the results are the three different sizes models: mini, classic and max:

Eu já testei as três. Na minha opinião a prancha Mini serve principalmente para cabelos curtos, franjas e para fazer cachos pequenos e definidos. A Max (grande) é melhor para alisar, mas também dá pra fazer cachos e ondas grandes. A que eu tenho é a média ou Classic. Sinceramente eu acho que é a que mais vale a pena comprar. Primeiro porque elas são bem caras e segundo porque dá pra conseguir praticamente todos os resultados! Dá pra comprar pelo site, mas para entregas em qualquer país fora de U.E. pode ser que seja aplicada uma taxa de importação.

I’ve tested the three of them. In my opinion the ghd mini is recommended for short haircuts, fringes and for doing small and defined curls. The max ghd is better for straight styles, but you can also use it for big curls and waves. I have the classic one. Honestly, I think is the best one to have. First of all they are very expensive and second, you can get essentially all the results. You can buy it online, but for all orders shipped outside the EU duty charges may be applied.

Chega de blá blá blá. Quero mostrar alguns exemplos do que se pode fazer com ela (claro que também dá pra fazer com qualquer prancha com esse tamanho).

Meu cabelo é super liso e de comprimento médio, então normalmente não dá pra inventar muita coisa, por isso quando aprendi a usar a ghd minha vida mudou!

Enough of blah blah blah. I wanna show you some real examples of what you can do with it (of course you can use any hair straightener this size).

I have middle-length super straight hair, so normally I can’t make a lot of hairdos with it. That’s why my life changed when I learned how to use the ghd.

O estilo número 1 na foto é o liso básico. Eu fui dividindo o cabelo em camadas e passando a prancha com um movimento inclinado em direção ao meu rosto para que as pontas ficassem viradinhas para dentro. Esse é o estilo de cada dia praticamente.

Pra mudar um pouco e fazer o estilo 2 eu passo a prancha fazendo o movimento contrário em ALGUMAS pontas para ficar meio virado para fora/meio bagunçadinho. Na hora fica meio demais mas depois o cabelo pesa e fica mais natural. Vale dar uma “chacoalhada” no cabelo e passar um reparador de pontas.

Style 1 in the picture is the straight basic one. I separated my hair into sections and guided the straightener towards my chin when I got to the ends. This is my daily style.

To change a little and do style 2, I guided the straightener towards the exterior in SOME sections. When you finish it may look “too much” but in a while it goes down into a more natural style. I recommend using a hair serum and messing it up a little.

Eu adoro cachos (acho que nunca estamos felizes com o que a natureza nos deu) e meu trauma de infância era que nunca ninguém conseguia cachear meu cabelo (ou fazer cachos que durassem). A ghd me salvou! Tenho certeza que todo mundo já viu um zilhão de tutoriais no youtube ensinando a fazer cachos com pranchas, mas deixo as minhas dicas: dividir o cabelo em camadas horizontais facilita muito. Para fazer cachos naturais a prancha SEMPRE deve estar de cabeça para baixo e o movimento não pode ser muito lento. Eu sempre pego mechas finas de no máximo 2 dedos de largura e altero a direção da prancha, ou seja, um cacho no sentido horário e o seguinte no sentido oposto (exige um pouco de treino hahaha), assim eles não ficam grudados nem muito clássicos. A foto 3 não faz muito meu estilo, eu sempre passo a mão (sem medo) várias vezes pra deixar mais natural!!

Tudo vale para os cabelos compridos!! Só aconselho ir alisando a raiz e começar os cachos dos meios às pontas pra ficas mais natural. Quero saber depois se deu certo!!

Acho importante passar um protetor térmico antes da chapinha e um reparador de pontas depois. Para aquelas que têm o cabelo muito liso, vale tomar um banho de spray fixador como nossas avós faziam/fazem!

I love curls (I think we are never happy with what nature gave us) and my childhood trauma was that nobody could ever curl my hair (or make curls that lasted). Ghd saved me! I’m pretty sure everybody has seen a zillion how-to-make-curls-with-a-flat-iron videos in youtube, but I’ll give you some tips anyway: divide the hair into horizontal sections helps a lot. To have a natural curl the flat iron must ALWAYS be upside down and be sure to not slide it too slowly. I always use thin sections (2 inches max) and alternate the direction of the straightener, in other words, I try to do one curl in a clockwise motion and the next one towards the opposite motion (it’s a little difficult at the beginning). That way curls don’t stick together or look too serious. Style 3 is not my favorite that’s why I pass my fingers through the curls (with no fear) a lot of times to make it look more natural!!

All of the styles work for long hair! My advice is to try to keep the area close to the scalp straight and start to rotate the straightener from middle to ends to get a natural look. I want to know about your results!

I like to use a heat protection spray before using the straighter and a serum after. For the ones who have straight hair like mine you can always apply a cloud of hairspray like our grandmas used to do!
